Who is in the room

At a visit you are not with one person only. By the chair there is usually a dentist and an assistant, and at reception there is someone who booked the time and knows why you are coming. Names are on the team page if you want to see them beforehand.

The assistant passes instruments, keeps the field tidy, and is often the first to notice that you are uncomfortable. You can raise a hand at any time. You do not have to wait until a step is finished.

How the hour goes

At the start someone greets you and asks whether anything has changed since you booked. Then you come into the room. We explain what the next minutes are for before we begin, even when it is only a look.

If another person from the team comes in, we say why they are there. We do not talk over you without including you. If you prefer fewer explanations during the work itself, say so.

After the visit you can also ask reception if you did not catch the next date. We write it down and repeat it before you leave.
